Year 3 First Aid Training

On Friday 10^th May 2019, the children in Year 3 received first aid training. The aims of the training session were to help the children learn how to keep themselves safe in a variety of situations, how to give first aid for different needs, when they should seek help and what they should do in an emergency. Children were presented with a range of scenarios and they had to identify dangers then discuss what course of action they should take. The children were also shown how to put someone into the recovery position should the need occur. The children enjoyed the training and were very good at identifying how they could keep themselves and others safe. Super work Year 3!

PGL 2019

29 Year 4 children made their way to Lincolnshire last week for a 3 day residential trip to PGL. While there, the children got to experience archery, climbing, kayaking, assault courses, as well as learning a host of survival skills. All the children faced lots of challenges head on and showed lots of bravery, whilst having lots of fun along the way.
